MANSFIELD – The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) is enhancing career exploration opportunities by inviting high school students to participate in its newly established School Psychology Mentorship Program. This initiative aims to provide students with a practical, hands-on experience in the field of psychology, allowing them to understand the vital role school psychologists play in educational settings.
The program is designed for students who have a passion for helping others and are interested in the psychological aspects of education. Participants will engage in various activities that expose them to real-world applications of psychological principles, fostering both personal and professional growth. By connecting students with experienced professionals in the field, the mentorship program aims to inspire the next generation of school psychologists.
This new pathway not only supports students in their career exploration but also addresses the growing need for mental health resources in schools. As the program develops, it is expected to create a lasting impact on both participants and the broader educational community.
